My name is Katrina Poulsen. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner at Utah Headache & Migraine.

I obtained my RN from Mohave Community College in 2008, my bachelor’s degree from Walden University in 2011, and my nurse practitioner degree from Chamberlain University in 2020.

Some people in St. George and Mesquite may know me from my work in chronic pain management, where I treated those suffering from all sorts of pain syndromes, including headache and migraine. It was there I recognized the impact migraine can have on the lives of those suffering, as well as the lives of their loved ones. As such, I was excited to shift my focus to learning how to best manage this challenging disease. If I have learned anything so far, it is that there is so much more to treating migraine than just prescribing medication.
